Sugar daddies in Vancouver and the North Shore
On 3 October 2026 the Metro Vancouver slice of our Gallery sample was 92 women's profiles (median age 28.5) and 120 men's profiles (median age 42). More men's cards than women's in this pocket. That is the slice, not the city.
Montreal's count is on the Montreal page. How both samples were taken is on who is on the site in Canada.

Who is on SugarDaddyMeet in Vancouver?
On 3 October 2026 the cards we could tie to Metro Vancouver were 92 women's profiles and 120 men's profiles. The towns in that tie are Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, White Rock, Delta, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley and Fort Langley. A North Vancouver label is in. A Whistler label is not, because Whistler was not one of the towns we grouped.
Women's median age 28.5, against 28 in the full women's sample of 1,011. 64 of the 92 were marked open to travel. 10 showed a Premium badge. Men's median age 42, the same as the full men's sample of 1,011. Of the 120 men's cards, 11 were under 30, 41 were 30 to 39, 42 were 40 to 49, and 26 were 50 or older. 72 were open to travel. 26 showed a Premium badge. The cards do not say sugar daddy. The men's Gallery order leans older, so this median can sit high for that reason alone.
Those cards are not the population. Statistics Canada's table 17-10-0148-01 puts the Vancouver census metropolitan area at 3,088,036 people on 1 July 2025, a preliminary estimate on 2021 boundaries, not the City of Vancouver proper (Statistics Canada, table 17-10-0148-01). The platform's Canada page, read 4 October 2026, claims "over 85,000 active members in major Canadian metro areas (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal)". That line is theirs. It is not split out for Vancouver, and it is not this sample.
Is the North Shore, or Whistler, actually in the pool?
North Vancouver is in the pool, because it is one of the town labels above. If the card says North Vancouver, the person already picked that town. You do not need a travel flag to find them. You need the city filter, which still worked on a free account on 3 October 2026.
Whistler is the other trip, and it is outside the label list. 64 women's cards and 72 men's cards in the metro slice were marked open to travel, with no destination attached. Tourism Whistler, read 4 October 2026, said Whistler Blackcomb opens for the winter season on 20 November. A weekend there before that date is not ski season on the tourist bureau's own page. The bureau did not give one we are willing to repeat as the cost of a date.
- North Vancouver is already inside this count. So are Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey and the other towns named above. A card that says Whistler is not. Whistler only shows up if someone marks themselves open to travel, or writes it in the bio.
- This slice had more men's cards than women's. 120 men's profiles against 92 women's, on 3 October 2026. Do not turn that into a ratio for the city. Both samples stop near 1,000 cards.
- The free city filter is the one that works. On 3 October 2026 distance and sort order sat on the Advanced tab, and that tab was locked. Gender, age and city were not.
- A Premium badge is ink on the card. 26 of 120 men's profiles showed one. It is not a receipt, and badges can be hidden.

Is sugar dating legal in Vancouver?
Vancouver uses the federal Criminal Code, not a city bylaw we found. Section 286.1(1), current to 21 September 2026, makes it an offence to obtain sexual services for consideration, or to communicate for that purpose (Criminal Code, s. 286.1). The Justice technical paper, modified 3 February 2023, says a court looks for an agreement for a specific sexual service, contingent on that service and made before it happens. An ongoing relationship fails that test unless the evidence shows the payment was contingent on one sexual service (Justice Canada). That is not a promise about any particular pair of people.
British Columbia's Age of Majority Act, current to 22 September 2026, says a person reaches the age of majority on becoming 19, not 21 (Age of Majority Act). The Keefer Bar's own page sets its door at 19. The platform's service agreement, updated 12 May 2026, still requires 20, and the age of majority where you live. This is general information, not legal advice. Tax depends on the facts. We have no Canada Revenue Agency rule to quote. The longer account is the legal guide.
What should you watch for before you meet?
Relationship fraud in the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre's 2025 tables was 1,093 reports, 933 victims, and $63.3 M in reported loss. The Centre took in over 112,000 fraud reports that year and more than $704 million in reported losses (CAFC, 2025 tables). Those are reports to the Centre, not a rate on this platform. Get Cyber Safe, modified 9 February 2026, names any financial request before meeting in person, including pressure to send money, crypto, or gift cards (Get Cyber Safe). If that request shows up as an Interac e-transfer before you are at Hamilton Street or Keefer Street, stop. Report at reportcyberandfraud.canada.ca or 1-888-495-8501, and tell local police. The Centre keeps the report. It does not investigate. More is on the safety guide.
The footer says: "SugarDaddyMeet does not conduct background checks on the members of this website." A photo check, which the platform says it decides within 24 hours, matches a face to a picture. On 3 October 2026 Flame and 1:1 Meetup still suggested profiles from outside Canada, and SDM Select suggested profiles from the United States. The Gallery was the tab that kept the Canadian filter. Call your own car. If you leave on the SkyTrain, use a station you already know. TransLink publishes the schedules. Do not take the other person's keys. Agree that before you sit down. Membership is separate: on 3 October 2026 the upgrade screen showed Premium at $300 a month or $800 for three months with one complimentary month, a dollar sign and no currency code. Nobody was charged. Women start with how to find a sugar daddy. Men start with how to find a sugar baby.
